North West Edmonton Bingo Association Rules of Play Effective: Oct 1/2019

Games 1-40 Go-Go Series

Game 1 – one line or four comers or small X Game 2 – two lines or one line and four comers Game 3 – letter X

Game 4 – picture frame Game 5 – full card

Minimum payouts (multiple winners)

$ 1.00 card – $10.00

$ 2.00 card – $20.00

Prizes will be split equally amongst the winners and rounded to the nearest dollar. Two games on the regular series can be won at the same time. If the picture frame is won before the letter X the picture frame will be honored and then play will continue for the letter X.

Admission – Minimum admission per play is $6.00 for a full event.

Half time sales afternoon and evening events. Sales commence after the Loonie pot number is called in series 4 of the Go-Go Series to allow patrons to play game 21 to 40 regular, Speedo, 2ndBonanza, Kensington 50/50, Even Better, Double Action. Card sales will be ½ the regular price. Minimum of $6.00 per patron½ time sales only. Existing patrons can only buy additional cards at ½ time. An add-on to their original receipt will be done.

1st Early Bird-BNO

 

3 up strip for $1.00.

Will consist of 1 game marking all the B N and 0.

Prize payout is 50% of total sales. Split if more than one winner with a minimum of $10.00 per winner. Played every day, both events.

2nd early bird – Half House – Diagonal

 

3 up strip for $1.00

Prize payout is 50% of total sales.

Consist of 1 game, marking any Half House Diagonal pattern.

Split if more than one winner with a minimum of $10.00 per winner. Played every day, both events.

Free Game

 

The letter “K” played on regular game cards for $50.00, split if more than one winner, with a minimum of$10.00 per winner. Played every day.

Cards are given out on the basis of their purchase of regular cards. Eg.If you purchase 9 cards then you are given 9 free cards for the letter K. Game played right after the early birds.

3rd Early Bird – Progressive # 7

The cards will sell for $1.00 for a strip of 3. The players will be looking for the number 7.

If a player declares bingo for the # 7 in 15 numbers or less, they will win the

Progressive Pot as well as the event prize. If there is no winner(s) in 15 numbers or less, then the pot will be carried over to the next event-evening to evening and afternoon to afternoon.

Afternoon Prize Pool is 60% of card sales with 20% of the prize pool being progressed from afternoon event to afternoon event and 80% of the prize pool being awarded as the event prize.

Evening Prize Pool is 60% of card sales with 25% of the prize pool being progressed from evening event to evening event and 75% of the prize pool being awarded as the event prize

Afternoon Progressive #7

 

Pot will cap at $4,000.00 with a $4,000.00 reserve pot. Once the reserve pot reaches

$2,000.00 the number of required called numbers will increase by one number every Monday. Once both pots reach their capped amount if through normal course of play, the capped progressive prize has not been won during this period, the main progressive prize pool will be played off on a date to be set within the 14 day time period.

Evening Progressive #7

 

Pot will cap at $5,000.00 with a $5,000.00 reserve pot. Once the reserve pot reaches

$3,000.00 the number of required called numbers will increase by one number every Monday. Once both pots reach their capped amount if through normal course of play, the capped progressive prize has not been won during this period, the main

Progressive prize pool will be played off on a date to be set within the 14 day time period.

During the pre-playoff period and on playoff day, should a player achieve a valid bingo and be awarded the progressive prize (either the capped amount during the pre-playoff period on the capped amount on playoff day), play will continue and the next valid bingo(s) will receive the event prize.

On playoff day, the progressive prize will be awarded to the first valid bingo(s) regardless of number of balls called. All prizes split equally if multiple winners.

– 48 numbers are called. The 49 number must be called before any Full Card bingo will be verified. Balance of the numbers at the end of game 20.

Bonanza cards are sold for $1.00 (3Up) in both afternoon and evening events.

Full card payout is 50% of the total cards sold less caller’s choice of $25 and consolation prizes as follows;

Sales $1,000.00 or more – $100 Sales $501.00 – $999.00 – $50

Sales $1.00 – $500.00 – $25

In the event the Main prize is less than the Consolation the 2 prize payouts will be reversed. Split equally if more than 1 winner. Minimum payout – $10.00

Bonanza #2– Bonanza# 2 Pre-call- afternoon event. Bonanza# 2 Pre-Call- Evening events

– 48 numbers are called the balance of numbers are called after the 40thgame. The 49 number must be called before any Full Card bingo will be verified.

Full card payout is 50% of the total cards sold less Caller’s Choice of $25 and Consolation prizes as follows;

Sales $1,000.00 or more – $100

Sales $501.00 – $999.00 – $50

Sales $1.00 – $500.00 – $25

In the event the Main prize is less than the Consolation the 2 prize payouts will be reversed. Split equally if more than1winner. Minimum payout – $10.00

On all Bonanzas once the winner has been declared and the games is closed, and someone else bingos, the consolation then is given to that player upon verification of card and another number is not called

Door Prizes – prize will be awarded at a maximum rate of $20.00 per 100 patrons in the hall. This will consist of $20.00 cash. Two balls will be drawn from the bingo machine to determine the door prize number. The last number of each ball drawn will be used e.g. 0-65 is the first number drawn and 1-26 the second. The lucky number is 56. Door prize is drawn just before the Speedo Games begins.

Kensington 50/50 Game The game is played on a 1 up card sold for $1.00

Will consist of 1 game, marking 3 Outside straight lines together. Prize payout is 50% of the total sales. Split if more than one winner with a minimum of $10.00 per winner. Played every day, both events.

Double Action Game

 

Will be played on a1up card for $2.00. Played to a full card, with a progressive pot. There are 2 numbers in each square, if either number is called mark the entire square. Prize will be 50% of card sales. 70% of the prize will be the Event Prize and 30% of the prize will be added to the progressive pot. In order to win the Progressive Double Acton Pot you must have a valid full card bingo in 38 numbers or less. If the pot is won in 38 numbers or less the winner(s) will also receive the event prize. If no winner is declared in 38 numbers or less play will continue for the event prize. The pot will cap at $1500.00 and then a reserve pot will started. The pot will be a rolling pot and will run from event to event (Afternoon to evening to afternoon etc.)

Once the pot has reached a combined total of $3000.00 the first pot of $1500.00 will be played off at the same event of the following week. (If the second pot caps on Friday evening’s event the first pot will be played off on the following Friday evening). During a playoff event if not won during normal course of play the playoff pot will be awarded to the first valid full card bingo(s) regardless of how many numbers are called. Play will continue for the event prize. This game will be played before series 7 of the regular games.

Loonie pot# is determined by the 48thnumber of Bonanza #1 Pre-call. Loonie Pot #1 is played on the first 4 games of each Go-Go series &Loonie Pot #2 is played on the 5thgame of each Go-Go series. The Loonie Pots are $1.00 per Pot to play, and the prize payout is 60% of the revenue. If not won it is carried forward until it is won. The afternoon and evening events have separate pots with the afternoon pots capped at $3,000.00 and evenings pots capped at $5,000.00.

If a player decides to not purchase the loonie pot their regular card games will be punched.

Afternoon Loonie Pots

 

Pot will cap at $3,000.00 with a $3,000.00 reserve pot. Once the reserve pot reaches

$1500.00 the number of required called numbers will increase by one number every Monday. Once both pots reach their capped amount if through normal course of play, the capped progressive prize has not been won during this period, the main progressive prize pool will be played off on a date to be set within the 14 day time period.

Evening Loonie Pots

 

Pot will cap at $5,000.00 with a $5,000.00 reserve pot. Once the reserve pot reaches

$3,000.00 the number of required called numbers will increase by one number every Monday. Once both pots reach their capped amount if through normal course of play, the capped progressive prize has not been won during this period, the main

Progressive prize pool will be played off on a date to be set within the 14 day time period.

On Playoff day the winner(s) of game 39, series 8, the picture frame will win Loonie Pot #1 Split if multiple winners provided, they have purchased the Loonie pot.

On Playoff day the winner(s) of game 40 series on the full card will win Loonie Pot #2 Split if multiple winners provided, they have purchased the Loonie pot.

Security procedures – if the Loonie pot is not won during the event the prize money will be counted and verified by both the Bingo Chairperson and Hall Advisor.

Progressive Speedo Game:

 

Afternoon Pot:

Game is played on a 1 up card sold for $1.00. Game is played as a Speedo game with balls being called as quick as possible as they are fed through the ball chute and displayed on the monitor.

During the pre-playoff period (when the progressive pot is capped) and on playoff day, should a player achieve a valid bingo and be awarded the progressive prize (either the capped amount during the pre-playoff period or the capped amount on playoff day), play will continue and the next valid bingo(s) will receive the event consolation prize.

On playoff day, the progressive prize will be awarded to the first valid bingo(s) regardless of number of balls called. All prizes split equally if multiple winners.

Evening Pot:

In order to win the progressive prize pool, a valid full card bingo must be achieved within 50 called numbers. Pot will cap at $5,000.00 with a $5,000.00 reserve pot. Once the reserve pot reaches $3,000.00 the number of required called numbers will increase by one number every Monday and Thursday. Once both pots reach their capped amount if through normal course

of play, the capped progressive prize has not been won during this period, the main progressive prize pool will be played off on a date to be set within the 14-day time period.

Even Better

Will be played on a 1up folded card for $2.00 per card. Prize will be 50% of card sales. 50% of the prize will be the Event Prize and 50% of the prize will be added to the progressive pot. Played to a full card.

The calendar date will determine what number that will be “Wild” on the Even Better cards. If the calendar date is Even then players will mark all the Even numbers on their cards and the caller will only call the Odd numbers, and if it is an Odd numbered date the players will mark all the Odd numbers on their cards and the caller will call only the Even numbers.

In order to win the Progressive Even Better Pot player(s) must have a valid full card bingo ON the 53rdnumber. If the Even Better game is won on the 53rdnumber, and the 53rdnumbercompletes the full card, the winner(s)will receive the event prize and the progressive pot. If no winner is declared on the 53rdnumber play will continue for the event prize. In the event that there is a valid winner on the Even Better game before the 53rdnumber is called the caller will continue to call numbers until the 53rd number is called to make the progressive pot available.

The Even Better pot will cap at $10,000.00 and then a reserve pot will be started. The pot will be a rolling pot and will run from event to event (Afternoon to evening to afternoon etc.) Once the pot has reached a combined total of $20,000.00 the first pot of $10,000.00 will be played off at the same event the following week (if the second pot caps on Friday evening’s event the first pot will be played off on the following Friday evening). During a playoff event, if not won during normal course of play the playoff pot will be awarded to the first valid Full card bingo(s) regardless of how many numbers are called. Play will continue for the event prize.

Program-

 

  • Sunday thru Saturday-Afternoon and Evening Events. 4/48 Pots – There will be a separate 4/48 pot for Afternoon and Evening. The cost is $2.00 to be paid for along with their admission. Customers choosing to buy into the 4/48 Pots will have marked on their admission receipts. Example (4/48 – $1.00). The first winning player to declare a bingo on a full card with in 48 numbers, or a straight line, 4 corners or a small letter X in 4 numbers on any of the regular go-go series of the evening and afternoon events will receive the 4/48 pot, providing they have purchased this pot. The 4/48 Pot Pool is based on 50% of the sales for that event and the remaining percentage will go to the Licensee of the event. If there is no winner of the full card in 48 numbers or less or a straight line, 4 corners or the small letter X in 4 numbers the prize will be carried over to the next event, evening to evening and afternoon to afternoon. The 4/48 Pot will be capped at $3000.00 (evening) and $1500.00 (afternoon). In the event the main pot has been capped and the reserve pot cap has also been reached, the main pot shall be played off 14 days from the time the last pot was capped, (if not won in the 14 days) On the play-off event if the pot has not been won in the normal course of play during the event, the player or players to bingo on the full card on the final series of the regular games (series 8) will win the

play-off pot. Prizes will be split equally if more than one winner.

  • Wednesday thru Monday – Afternoon & Evening Events regular price $1.00 for Blue cards and $2.00 per card for Gold cards. Senior Discount of $1.00 on purchase of cards over $6.00 not including pots.

$6.00 or more not including pots. The $1.00 Senior Discount is not applicable on Tuesdays when other discounting is being utilized.

  • Monday&FridaysOnly,oneachgameoftheregular40gamego-goseries,ifwinner bingos on a double number i.e. 11-22-33-44-55- 66, they will be paid double the payout.

If more than one winner the prize money would be split amongst the number of winners, and then doubled. That double numbers needs to complete the winning pattern.

  • Player of the Week Afternoon &Evening will be every Sunday and the first single winner in the first half (regular games) will become the Player of the Week and be able to play the same value of regular game cards they were playing for that event every afternoon or evening totaling 7 events including Loonie Pots.. The player will receive a card identifying them as Player of the Week and the free cards will not impact the payout or attendance level. The player of the week card has no cash value, is non-transferable and applies to regular bingo cards only (does not apply to special games.). If the first single winner declines becoming the Play of the Week, then it become void.
  • Monthly Special – (Last Friday of each Month) ½ price admission at ½ time Power Play pricing (formerly called All You Can Play). Cards priced at minimum

$10.00 for Regular ($1.00) cards and a minimum $20.00 for Gold ($2.00) cards to a maximum of 30 cards Special is played on the #2 Bonanza with a guaranteed prize payout Guaranteed on 2ndBonanza (46 # Pre-call) A 47thnumber must be called before we can honor a guaranteed full card.

Afternoon Full Card Guaranteed $1,000.00 plus $100.00 Callers Choice & $100.00 Consolation for a total payout of $1,200.00 on 2ndBonanza.

Evening Full Card Guaranteed$ 2,500.00 plus $100.00 Caller Choice & $100 Consolation Evening for a total payout of $2,700.00 on second Bonanza.

2nd– Early Bird -Half House Diagonal

 

Afternoon Half House Diagonal Guaranteed Prize. Consist of 1 game, marking any Half House Diagonal pattern for a total prize payout of $200.00. Split if more than one winner with a minimum of $10.00 per winner.
